About Me

Heather Raeburn is a botanical artist living and working in Edinburgh. Since graduating from Edinburgh College of Art, she has worked successfully in illustrative design and portraiture.

In 2006 Heather decided to fulfill a long held ambition and turned her talents to botanical painting, studying at the Royal Botanical Gardens where she quickly merged her natural abilities for observation and fine detail to produce beautiful botanical paintings.

Heather has been invited to exhibit at both the Royal Horticultural Society in London, and Botanical Images Scotia at Gardening Scotland, and is working on two new collections for these occassions.

What My Customers Say

"I recently bought Heather Raeburn's 'lisianthus' botanical watercolour print. I just love the accuracy of it, its fine detail, and the fact that it seems to compliment every room I try it in. I am totally enthralled by her paintings and look forward to adding to my collection in the near future."
Elaine Mulligan

"Heather Raeburn's extremely detailed botanical studies really capture the beauty of the living plant. If you look closely at her 'Sinomenium' you might even catch a tendril growing off the page."
